As a supply house, especially if you are hosting backflow courses, but even if not, it makes sense to offer products and services to backflow testers. The industry is often under-served which creates opportunities to find new customers for your other products. This would include backflow preventers for install, repair kits, and also backflow test kits and calibrations. The issue of durability comes up a lot as well, students do not care about your equipment, sometimes they get dropped or needle valves get stripped out, we have heavy duty all brass needle valves you can literally hit with a hammer, the body is all anodized aluminum and casing is very tough / water resistant, etc. Also the functionality and construction is compliant with ASSE 1064-2020 and valid for any jurisdiction that the testers plan to use them.
